Tutor terms

These terms cover Prepwick's tutor program. By signing up at prepwick.com/tutors, you agree to them.

Who can join

Tutors who are 18 or older and work with students getting ready for high school entrance tests.
Sign up with your own name and email.
You are independent. You are not employed by or acting for Prepwick, and Prepwick is not responsible for your tutoring, your advice or what you charge.
Prepwick can decline or remove any tutor.

$20 for each new family that signs up through your link and buys a Prepwick pass. There is no cap.
The family gets $20 off their first pass.
Your fee is earned 30 days after the family's purchase, as long as it was not refunded.
One fee per child per season. Each family counts once, through the first link they used, whether it was a parent's or a tutor's.
No fee for your own household, for a family already signed up with Prepwick, or for a purchase not made through your link.

Earned fees are paid once a month.
Before your first payout, we email you to agree on how you get paid. We may ask for a tax form before paying.

Share your link with parents and guardians only, never with students.
Tell parents that Prepwick pays you when they buy through your link. The share text does this for you.
Describe Prepwick only the way prepwick.com describes it. Never promise scores, admission or results.
Do not say you work for or speak for Prepwick.
No spam, and no paid ads that use the Prepwick name.

You see a student only after their parent says yes to sharing with you. The parent can stop sharing at any time, and your access ends right away.
If the parent allows it, you can assign skills for the student to practice, from the tests the parent chose. Assign only what helps the student prepare. The parent can remove any assignment.
Use what you see only to help that student. Do not copy, download, sell or pass it on, and do not use it to contact the student.
Prepwick keeps a record of when you open each student's pages, and the parent can see the date you last looked.

Prepwick can change or end the tutor program. Fees earned before a change are still paid.
You or Prepwick can end your part in it at any time. Fees earned before then are still paid, unless they came from breaking these terms.
