The short version

These terms cover prepwick.com, our email list, Founding Passes, sharing your child's practice with a tutor, and tutor accounts. By using the site or buying a pass, you agree to them. How we handle information is on the Privacy page.

Who we are

What this site is

• Test information for parents. Each fact links to the official page it comes from. Dates, fees and formats change every year, so check the official page before you rely on one.
• Prepwick is not affiliated with or endorsed by any test publisher, school, diocese or school system. Test names are used only to describe the tests.
• We never promise a score or an admission. No one honestly can. What Prepwick gives you is practice and a clear view of how it is going.

Our email list

The list is for parents and guardians 18 or older. We send sign-up, test date, enrollment and launch emails. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.

Founding Passes

Passes go on sale November 15, 2026, at the founding-family price. If you buy one:

• One pass covers one child for the SHSAT and TACHS, from November 15, 2026 through the fall 2027 tests.
• It is a one-time payment, not a subscription. The price is shown at checkout.
• You get a full refund if you ask before February 1, 2027, for any reason.
• If Prepwick is not live by January 1, 2027, we refund you automatically.
• Stripe handles payment. We never see your full card number.

Accounts and children

When the app opens, every account belongs to a parent or guardian 18 or older. Your child practices under your account, with your permission, and you are responsible for how the account is used. Keep sign-in details private.

Practice questions and Wick

Questions, explanations and the hints from Wick, Prepwick's study guide, are drafted with the help of AI and checked before any child sees them. Math questions are solved twice independently and checked by code. Reading passages are written for Prepwick. Wick does not chat. Mistakes can still slip through. If you find one, email us and we will fix it.

Sharing with a tutor

• Only a parent can share a child's practice with a tutor, one child at a time, by saying yes to the sharing notice. You can stop sharing at any time, and access ends at once.
• Tutors are independent. They are not employed by or acting for Prepwick, and Prepwick is not responsible for their tutoring, their advice or what they charge you.
• If you join through a tutor's link, that tutor may earn a referral fee from Prepwick if you buy a pass. You still get $20 off.

Tutor accounts

Tutors sign up at prepwick.com/tutors and accept the tutor terms, which set out the full rules. In short:

• You must be 18 or older and sign up with your own name and email.
• You see a child's practice only after that child's parent says yes, and only until the parent stops sharing. If the parent allows it, you can assign skills for the child to practice, from the tests the parent chose. Nothing else can be changed, and you cannot message the child.
• Use a child's information only to help that child. Do not copy it, pass it on or use it for anything else.
• Share your tutor link with parents and guardians only, never with students.
• Tell parents that you earn a referral fee from Prepwick when they buy through your link.
• The fee is $20 for each family that is new to Prepwick, joins through your link and buys a pass. There is no cap. It is earned 30 days after the purchase if the pass was not refunded, and not before February 1, 2027, and paid monthly. One fee per family per season. No fee on your own household or on families who already use Prepwick. We may need tax information from you before we pay a fee.
• Prepwick can end a tutor account that breaks these terms, and can change or end the tutor program. Fees already earned will be paid.

Using the site fairly

Please do not copy large parts of the site, scrape it, try to get into an account that is not yours, or use Prepwick to harm anyone. We can block access that does.

If something goes wrong

We work hard to keep every fact right and the site running, but Prepwick is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Prepwick is not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

Changes and the law

If these terms change, we will update the date at the top, and we will email account holders about any change that matters to them. These terms are governed by the laws of New York.
